Bio: A graduate of the Institut des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (IHEC) of Carthage (Class of 2010), Ali Mnif is a figurehead of the startup ecosystem in Tunisia since 2011.
Since 2012, he has managed the Maghreb Startup Initiative, the first major competition dedicated to Startups in Tunisia.
He also helped implement the Univenture initiative dedicated to the detection and support of technological spin-offs from the world of scientific research in universities. In 2014, Ali designs and implements, with his co-founders, Le 15, a third location dedicated to Startups in downtown Tunis where he leads the regional program FLat6Labs to set up its Tunisian chapter.
Ali is now Country Manager of Silatech, a pan-Arab initiative for the promotion of youth, job creation and entrepreneurship in the Arab world.
He is also co-director of Founder Institute Tunisia, the Tunisian chapter of the Californian Idea-Stage Accelerator.
Finally, Ali is also one of the 5 members of the Task-Force mandated by SEM. the Minister of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy to design and implement the Startup Act and the Startup Tunisia initiative.
