Meet the Selection Committee

The selection committee is the body of evaluation and selection of beneficiaries of the support program Flywheel, component of the national initiative Startup Tunisia. It is a committee composed of competent and independent public/private profiles.

Salma Baghdadi

is a representative of Smart Capital, the operator of Startup Tunisia. Formerly an entrepreneur, she is now dedicated to supporting Startups in Tunisia.

Rym Baouendi

Is the founder of the innovation and sustainable development consulting firm Medina Works.

Mehdi Charfi

Is the Managing Partner of SPE Capital in the UAE. He has been working in private equity in the Africa Middle East region since 2005.

Hassen Harrabi

Is an advisor to the Minister of Communication Technologies in charge of digital strategy and member of the College of Startups since November 2020.

Chaima Soudani

joined the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations in 2012. She is currently an Investment Manager specialized in innovation and infrastructure projects.

Bechir Tourki

Co-founded two start-ups (Marcel and Yuso) in 2014 sold to the Renault group in 2017. He is a former president of ATUGE France and is now an entrepreneur and Business Angel.

Henrik Wichmann

Is the representative of the GIZ. He has been working for 7 years between Berlin, Yangon and now in Tunisia.
