2nd session of AIR and AIR² : 17 projects selected

For its second session of the year, the Flywheel program operated by Startup Tunisia and its partners, the CDC, GIZ and the World Bank has just announced the awarding of 17 grants divided between AIR and AIR².

Indeed, 11 solutions have been selected to receive AIR, the grant supporting the Proof-Of-Concept development of very early stage Startups.

AIR compensates the lack of financing opportunities and the scarcity of business angels funding at the earliest phase of their lifecycles and these are the projects that have been awarded the grant for this session :

  1. CO-SOLAR
  2. YAGRI
  3. ASQII
  4. Pepolls
  5. Design and sale of remote energy management systems
  6. Vife
  7. BLASTER OZONE SOLUTIONS
  8. Fouita
  9. iCan-C
  10. Kids Protect
  11. Smart House Tunisia

In addition, 6 Startups, more advanced in their development cycle, have been selected to benefit from AIR². 
AIR² is an investment readiness grant awarded to seed stage startups aiming to reach and raise a Series A round.

The 6 startups selected are the following:

  1. Dabchy
  2. Wattnow
  3. Datavora
  4. Digiconstat
  5. Ezzayra
  6. Wantotrip

AIR and AIR² are awarded following a call for application process and evaluation process by an independent and tech savvy selection committee. Next session will be opened on January 3rd, 2022.
