What are the criteria to benefit from the startup grant ?

The applicant for a Startup Scholarship must meet the following requirements:

- Obtaining the Startup Label by the company in which he is founder and shareholder,

- Have not received a Startup grant in the three (03) years following the date of application,

- Submit an application via the Startup electronic portal within one (01) month from the date of obtaining the Startup label without however exceeding one (01) year from the date of the company's incorporation,

- Commit to be employed full time within the said Startup.

How is the amount of the scholarship caculated?

The amount of the Startup grant is set for employees on the basis of the average net monthly income for the last twelve (12) months from the date of obtaining the Startup label. This amount is between one thousand (1000) dinars and five thousand (5000) dinars net per month. For non-salaried employees, the net monthly amount of the grant is set at one thousand (1000) dinars.

How to apply for the STARTUP GRANT?

Applicants for the Startup Exchange submit a unified electronic application for the relevant Startup via the Startup Portal. The application is provided with the necessary data and supporting documents. After verification of the eligibility of the application, a response is formulated within a period not exceeding fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of the application. Approved applications are transmitted electronically to the National Agency for Employment and Self-Employment (ANETI).

How is the STARTUP STOCK GRANT PAID OUT?

 The grant is paid from the date of obtaining the Startup label. In the case of employees benefiting from a leave of absence for the creation of a Startup, the grant is paid from the date of effective departure from the original job. The National Agency for Employment and Self-Employment pays the said grant monthly and within the limit of twelve (12) months.
